Job Description: Microsoft Technologies Developer at Infosys
Infosys is seeking a Microsoft Technologies Developer to support and enhance applications using MS technologies. The role involves utilizing Microsoft Office and SharePoint to meet clients' automation needs.
Required Qualifications:
- Located within commuting distance of Chesterbrook, PA, or Charlotte, NC, or willing to relocate; travel within the US may be required.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution; three years of progressive experience in the field may substitute for each year of education.
- At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in VBA development using Microsoft Office applications (SharePoint, InfoPath, Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in writing complex SQL.
Responsibilities:
- Review business and system requirements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with project teams to understand business needs and provide high-level estimates.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate activities with clients, including meetings, training, and presentations.
- Perform thorough unit testing to ensure quality.
- Provide timely updates to management and communicate project status effectively.
- Support business operations related to supported applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Document projects per department guidelines.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with clients and IT teams.
- Experience working in a global delivery environment.
This role involves extensive travel and requires the ability to work at a computer for extended periods and communicate effectively via telephone, email, or face-to-face.
