UX Designer
Boston, MA: Hybrid - 2-3 days per week in the office
6 months contract to hire

We are seeking an experienced UX Designer to join a fast-paced digital product team within a well-established organization. This role focuses on enhancing user experiences across a range of customer-facing digital platforms. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, development, and digital marketing to ensure that all user interactions are seamless, intuitive, and aligned with strategic business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and optimize user experiences across various digital touchpoints, especially in marketing-driven and content-heavy web environments.
• Lead customer journey mapping workshops to identify pain points and UX improvement opportunities.
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs that communicate experience strategies effectively.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to implement and refine design solutions.
• Support rapid prototyping and fine-tuning front-end design using HTML and CSS.
• Contribute to developing and maintaining a scalable design system for UI consistency.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of UX design experience, preferably in digital product or SaaS environments.
• Deep understanding of user-centered design processes and customer journey frameworks.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of deliverables from wireframes to high-fidelity visuals.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS to facilitate collaboration with development teams.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to advocate for user needs.

Bonus Experience:

• Experience with user testing, A/B testing, and analytics to inform design decisions.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaboration tools like Jira, Confluence, or Notion.
