We’re looking for someone who can take direction from written or spoken ideas and convert them seamlessly into images, layouts and other designs. The successful candidate should have an intimate understanding of how marketing campaigns work, especially in the retail and residential sales industries, to support our needs.We work in a fast-paced environment, so the ideal Graphic Designer will be able to hit the ground running and be a self-starter with excellent time management and prioritization skills. Applicants with experience leading creative teams and designing with other professionals will be given prime consideration, as the role will require leadership skills related to presenting creative work and managing the feedback/revision process amongst various stakeholder groups.

This temporary assignment which is expected to begin in November 2024. The projected end date for this temporary assignment is March 2025.Responsibilities:Create visual aspects of all consumer-facing and B2B marketing materials, advertising, websites, and other media.Maintain the organization’s design and communications standards on documents produced.Ensure projects are completed with high quality and on schedulePrioritize and manage multiple projects within design specificationsPerform retouching and manipulation of imagesOther projects as requiredRequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Fine Art Design, Marketing or related discipline preferred4+ years in professional commercial design, preferably with a marketing or creative agency or in-house at a brandExtensive experience with Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, specifically with mockups, web design and multimedia presentations.Working knowledge of CSS3, HTML5 and JavaScript.Working knowledge of various industry formats and programs including but not limited to those related to animation and video such as .gif, .mp4 and Adobe After Effects.Working knowledge of formatting graphics and content to fit a digital and social media parameters and specs.Working knowledge of email software, and how to create emails that are a combination of live-text and image blocks.Experience working with WordPress templatesAdaptive design eye and skillExcellent communication skillsAbility to absorb and apply constructive criticism from peers and clientsAbility to efficiently intake creative briefs and set priorities and timelines without extensive oversightBenefitsCompetitive salary, commensurate with experience and marketPaid ParkingEQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER
