As a Software Engineer II at JPMorgan Chase within the Commercial & Investment Bank - Digital Platforms team, you will be part of an agile team that enhances, designs, and delivers software components of the firm's cutting-edge technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable manner. You will execute software solutions through designing, developing, and troubleshooting multiple components within a technical product, application, or system, gaining valuable skills and experience to grow in your role. Job responsibilities Execute standard software solutions, design, develop, and troubleshoot Write secure, high-quality code using at least one programming language with minimal guidance Design, develop, code, and troubleshoot considering upstream and downstream systems and technical implications Utilize tools within the Software Development Life Cycle to enhance automation and value Apply technical troubleshooting to resolve basic complexity problems Analyze large, diverse data sets to identify issues and support decision-making for secure, stable application development Learn and apply system processes, methodologies, and skills for developing secure, stable code and systems Understand User Interface concepts to improve user experience Contribute to a team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 2+ years of applied experience Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability Proficiency in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming and database querying languages Ability to code in languages such as React.js, HTML5, Node.js, Spring Boot, and Java Experience across the entire Software Development Life Cycle Exposure to agile methodologies like CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security Emerging knowledge of software applications and technical processes (e.g., cloud, AI, machine learning, mobile) Hands-on experience with React.js and strong Front End Development skills Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills Java Certification Experience with cloud technologies About the Team JPMorgan Chase, a historic financial institution, offers innovative solutions to millions worldwide.
