Salary: $120,000 $170,000 per year (DOE)
Clearance: Active TS/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph Required
Schedule: Full-time On-site with up to 16 hours/week Telework Available
About the Role Central Texas Recruiting is seeking a Web Developer II to support enterprise-level web development projects at Fort Meade, MD. This role is ideal for a skilled developer passionate about creating visually rich, user-friendly, and intuitive web solutions for high-security environments. Youll design, develop, and maintain secure websites and applications that enable effective communication and information exchange for the NSA/CSS and its partners. This position blends front-end creativity with back-end technical execution in a collaborative Agile sprint environment.
Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain secure, content-rich websites Gather and analyze customer requirements and translate them into scalable web solutions Build user interfaces using modern web technologies and graphics software Write and maintain technical documentation and configuration records Code websites using HTML, Visual Basic, Java, CGI, XML, and other web-based languages Apply user-centered design principles for intuitive navigation and seamless UX Troubleshoot complex issues and implement secure, high-performance solutions Integrate modern web products into legacy systems to improve performance and user experience
Qualifications & Requirements
U.S. Citizenship Required Active TS/SCI Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph Education & Experience:
8+ years of experience as a Web Developer supporting similar scope and complexity Bachelors degree in a technical discipline (may substitute 4 years of experience) Technical Skills: HTML, XML, CGI, Java, Visual Basic Web-based animation, UI/UX, and dynamic site components Strong understanding of modern development tools and practices Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) AWS environment with Lambda, RDS Aurora PostgreSQL, SQS, SNS, API Gateway, CloudWatch Experience with Docker, PgAdmin, Python 3.11, Poetry, and Makefile Familiarity with DynamoDB, Step Functions, S3 presigned URLs, and Lambda Authorizers
