Johnson Service Group, a nationally award-winning staffing firm, is looking to hire a Visual Inspection Technician (Drug Product) for a biotech manufacturing company in Carlsbad, CA.

Responsibilities and Duties

1. Perform visual inspection of pharmaceutical or medical products to identify defects or non-conformities.
2. Ensure all inspected products meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements.
3. Document results accurately in batch records or electronic systems.
4. Maintain good documentation practices (GDP) and ensure inspection areas comply with aseptic and cleanliness standards.
5. Operate and maintain inspection equipment and booths according to SOPs.
6. Report defective products or process deviations to quality or production supervisors.
7. Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety protocols at all times.
8. Participate in inspection and manufacturing readiness activities.
9. Maintain cleanliness and organization of inspection areas, including gowning in all lab areas.

Requirements and Qualifications

1. High school diploma or equivalent required; 0-2 years of relevant experience. A Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or life science field is preferred.
2. Effective communication skills within the department and cross-functionally with other divisions.
3. High level of personal and professional integrity, trustworthiness, a strong work ethic, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
4. Familiarity with GMP guidelines, including USP and USP , and 21CFR 210/211.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
