Summary
Adjunct Faculty members are assigned specific courses based on their expertise. This is a temporary, part-time position, and faculty may work as needed. Candidates should exemplify Rush’s mission, vision, and values and adhere to policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or Doctorate in a relevant field; Bachelor’s degree for Instructor roles.
- Strong skills in instruction and evaluation across classroom, lab, and clinical settings.
- Experience with Web-Based education.
- Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to instruct, counsel, and develop courses effectively.
- Willingness to learn new instructional technologies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain courses aligning with accreditation standards.
- Instruct and assist in multiple courses.
- Develop outcomes assessments for programs and courses.
- Collaborate with department programs and teach as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
