Part-Time 6-12 Library Assistant
Winneconne Community School District
The Winneconne Community School District is hiring a Part-Time Library Assistan t to support library services and student learning across grades 6-12.

Position Starts: August 20, 2025
Hours: 11:15 AM - 3:15 PM | Monday-Friday (school year only)
Application Deadline: Priority given to applications received by May 21, 2025
Job Responsibilities:
Assist students and staff in locating and using library resources
Support digital literacy instruction (under District Librarian supervision)
Supervise students in the library and during lunch
Check in/out materials and shelve returned items
Catalog, process, and help maintain library collections
Create reports, send notices, and manage periodicals
Provide basic tech/printing help for staff and students
Support evening library programming for families
Qualifications:
High school diploma
Basic computer and typing skills
Strong communication and organizational abilities
Experience working with students preferred
Comfortable working both independently and on a team
Able to handle interruptions with a calm, positive attitude
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
Frequent standing, reaching, and computer use
Clear communication and active listening skills
