Lead Visual Designer - Cards & Payments

We are seeking a Lead Visual Designer with 6 to 10 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Google Web Designer, Figma, Adobe XD, and Sketch. Experience in the Cards & Payments domain is a plus. This hybrid role requires a creative individual who can work collaboratively to deliver visually compelling designs that align with our company's goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design process from concept to completion, ensuring high-quality visual output.
• Oversee the creation of visually appealing and user-friendly designs using Google Web Designer, Figma, Adobe XD, and Sketch.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver designs that meet business objectives.
• Provide creative direction and feedback to junior designers to maintain design consistency and quality.
• Develop and maintain design guidelines and best practices to ensure a cohesive visual identity across all platforms.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and improve design solutions.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to effectively communicate design ideas and concepts.
• Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to continuously enhance design quality.
• Ensure designs are optimized for various devices and platforms, providing a seamless user experience.
• Work closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of design elements.
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
• Present design concepts and solutions to stakeholders, incorporating feedback to refine and improve designs.
• Contribute to the overall design strategy, aligning with the company's vision and goals.

Qualifications

• Strong technical skills in Google Web Designer, Figma, Adobe XD, and Sketch.
• A keen eye for detail and a strong sense of aesthetics.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience in the Cards & Payments domain is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Proactive problem-solving and innovation skills.
• Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.

Salary and Other Compensation

Applications will be accepted until May 18, 2025.

The annual salary ranges from $112,000 to $132,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

This position is eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to plan terms.
