Position Scope and Organizational Impact The Content Developer I will participate in facets of Instructional Design to support developing the skills and knowledge of employees within the Solar Energy division. The primary focus is to impact our Solar field-based employees and other work groups supporting our ‘Field First’ rally cry. The role may require travel to field project sites (up to 30%) to gather content and media. The Content Developer I will work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to create engaging learning content (ILT, eLearning, Blended) for the Learning Management System (LMS), specifically Workday. The candidate should be able to translate complex solar activities into understandable content for various learner levels. The ideal candidate is open-minded, creative, an excellent listener, able to multitask, and collaborate effectively to manage 2-4 projects simultaneously. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities Instructional Design Build relationships and collaborate with multiple business partners to understand training needs Interview SMEs to create learning objectives and identify target audiences Design effective training programs using models like ADDIE or SAM Create content outlines and storyboards aligned with learning objectives Instructional Development Develop eLearning modules using software like Articulate Storyline, Rise, Camtasia, etc. Design and develop Instructor Led Training (ILT) classes Influence and collaborate with others to gather necessary information Work in rapid development modes and evaluate content for continuous improvement Interpersonal & Problem Solving Work under close supervision Explain policies and practices related to the role Handle problems that are generally straightforward Perform other duties as assigned Education and Work Experience 1-5 years’ experience as a Content Developer with tools like Articulate Storyline, Camtasia, etc. BS/BA in Instructional Design, Learning Technologies, Business, or equivalent preferred Certification (e.g., CPLP, ASTD) is a plus Proven experience as an effective Content Developer Understanding of effective teaching methodologies Willing to stay updated on new training techniques Experience in construction, engineering, or architectural organizations preferred Strong computer skills, especially in MS Office and eLearning software Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills Self-motivated and adaptable to changing priorities Engaging professional presence Positive attitude working with the team Bilingual in English/Spanish or English/Haitian Creole preferred Job Details Title: Content Developer I, Training & Development Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL (Hybrid) Type: Full-time, Exempt, Salaried Reports to: Manager, Training and Development Moss is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion. #J-18808-Ljbffr
