Looking to hire for a fast-growing tech startup based in Chicago, building cutting-edge digital products that solve real-world problems. As we scale our products and grow our design team, we’re looking for a Senior UI Designer who’s passionate about interface design and ready to shape the visual direction of our platform.

What You'll Do

• Lead the end-to-end UI design process across web and mobile platforms
• Collaborate closely with product managers, UX designers, and engineers to bring concepts to life
• Design high-fidelity mockups, UI components, and design systems that are scalable and consistent
• Advocate for a user-centered design approach while balancing business goals
• Conduct and incorporate feedback from usability testing and internal reviews
• Maintain and evolve our design system and UI standards
• Stay current on UI trends, tools, and best practices

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of professional experience in UI or product design
• Expert in tools like Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design platforms
• Deep understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and component-based design
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional product teams in an agile environment
• Excellent visual design skills with attention to detail and a passion for clean, elegant interfaces
• Strong communication skills — you can clearly articulate your design decisions
• Must be willing and able to work full-time onsite at our Chicago office

Nice to Have

• Experience working in early-stage startups or fast-paced environments
• Prior experience contributing to or building a design system
