Director, Global Strategic Communications, Surgery . This hybrid role is based in Raritan, NJ, with consideration for other J&J MedTech offices. Our Surgery business leads the global market, developing innovative surgical technologies, robotics, and digital solutions to improve access to safe surgery worldwide. This position reports to the Senior Director, Global Surgery Communications, and involves leading global communication strategies, aligning messaging with business priorities, and collaborating with senior leaders across the organization. Responsibilities include: Develop and execute global communication strategies for the Surgery business. Advise senior leaders on communication outcomes aligning with business objectives. Manage employee communication programs connecting transformation initiatives and business strategies. Lead thought leadership initiatives, including events, media, and content strategies. Oversee a team, agencies, and contractors to ensure quality in communications. Coordinate with enterprise change management and other regional and sector communication leaders. Manage media relations and social media engagement, including issue management. Qualifications include: Bachelor's Degree in communication, journalism, PR, or related field. At least 10 years of experience in corporate or public relations, with proven leadership and influence skills. Strong writing, presentation, and media relations skills. Experience with media analytics, digital platforms, and internal change management programs. Preferred qualifications: Experience in healthcare communications and organizational communications.
