Overview Seeking an individual to join our Photo & AV Studio (PAVS) Production team (specifically for our US/CANADA markets) as a Supervising Producer across our Series and Film. Key responsibilities include acting as a supervising producer over multiple shoot productions for Marketing, Social and Publicity.
Ideal Candidate The team this candidate will be joining is the internal production arm of Netflix marketing and publicity and produces for a range of promotional material from print art to social content. This person will largely be responsible for managing internal and external partners in the shoot production process. The candidate is someone who is detail-oriented, comfortable multi-tasking and anticipates the needs of various stakeholders in the production process. This person is an early adapter to new softwares and workflows, and is ready to find new ways to approach problems.
This job is based in Los Angeles and reports to the Senior Manager, UCAN Photo & AV Studio Production.
Career Experience.
This person has 8-10 years experience working as a supervising producer, line producer, producer (or similar) across commercials, TV, Films, or marketing either as a freelancer or on staff at a studio, production company or agency. An understanding of the roles and responsibilities of everyone on a physical production set is a must, in addition to being very comfortable with building production schedules and production budgets.
Responsibilities
Manage internal and external partnerships in shoot pre-production through wrap Set best practices for shoots at Netflix Lead on project to FTE's or Line Producers Maintain production guides, rules and practices for Netflix shoots Including I&D, Netflix culture, Sustainability practices Building/maintaining systems, practices and efficiencies in physical production. Budgeting / create bids for shoots Manage and oversee physical production teams and project scheduling Manage and maintain a roster of line producers and directors Hiring Line Producers and Directors on a per shoot basis Support and oversee productions and freelance line producers Build and maintain support infrastructures like stage acquisition, vendor partnerships Track shoots and resources Oversee/maintain systems for keeping track of shoot costs and which XF partners we work with Build and maintain relationships with XF teams and partners Keep up with new technologies and practices in physical production Build and maintain relationships with production vendors
Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $170,000 - $250,000.
