Description
The Lawrence Herbert School of Communication at Hofstra University is pleased to invite applications for an Adjunct Assistant/Associate Professor in the area of Film Production in the Department of Radio, Television, Film.
Candidate should be able to teach the fundamental practices of directing, cinematography, visual storytelling and editing using AVID and Premiere Pro.
In addition, the candidate should have a body of creative work in at least one of these practices.
Qualifications
- Terminal Degree (MFA) or at least 5 years professional experience in a related field.
- Candidate should be able to teach the fundamental practices of directing, cinematography, visual storytelling and editing using AVID and Premiere Pro.
- Successful candidates will have demonstrated a commitment to promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion in an educational environment.
