This position is a hybrid role, allowing work at both an NAU site and a non-centralized location with or without accommodation.
Job Description
Reporting to the Manager, Graphic Design (Creative Services), this role involves producing and finalizing visual communication designs supporting university initiatives. Responsibilities include creating final design files for print and digital delivery, maintaining brand standards, and collaborating with print and ADA-related teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce final graphic design files for print and digital formats.
- Apply university brand strategies to created materials.
- Ensure the quality of designs representing the university.
- Identify improvements in marketing and communication materials and propose enhancements.
- Follow established standards and guidelines, with some personal decision-making within those standards.
Functional Support (15%)
- Support ADA design production as needed.
- Maintain consistency in brand standards.
- Implement stakeholder feedback to improve quality.
Other Duties (5%)
- Perform other assigned duties.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communications, or related field.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience or equivalent education/training.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3-5 years of professional production design experience.
- Experience within a university or similar environment.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Intermediate knowledge of graphic design best practices and tools.
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office, and digital asset management systems.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Effective problem-solving and communication skills.
