The Team: The Visual Merchandising team supports the Hermès of Paris US network by enhancing the in-store client experience through targeted and strategic display of merchandise collections, while also optimizing sales. This position will report to the Senior Manager Visual Merchandising, West and will work collaboratively as partners in Retail, Client Experience, and Communications driven activities, lending their expertise to elevate and evolve the brand identity in a fast-paced, luxury environment.
The Opportunity: As the Visual Merchandising Manager, South Coast Plaza, you will be responsible for the quality and consistency of visual merchandising at the South Coast Plaza boutique. This role requires extensive in-store merchandising, blending commercial and aesthetic concerns to enhance the store's atmosphere, client experience, and meet business goals. You will be a key business partner to the store management team, demonstrating agility and excellent communication skills in daily tasks and projects.
About You:
- Minimum 5-8 years of Visual Merchandising experience in a luxury environment.
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to interpret and adapt guidelines to uphold Group standards.
- Passion for Hermès' métiers and history.
- High attention to detail and self-motivation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize effectively, and work under pressure.
- Understanding of client-facing business operations.
- Strategic agility and excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
- Flexibility to work a schedule aligned with business needs.
