Job Description: Community Manager
We are seeking a Community Manager for our Boulevard Community located in Clearwater, Florida. The role involves managing the daily administration, operation, and personnel of the manufactured home community efficiently, professionally, and profitably.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing and depositing daily collections of all monthly rentals, late fees, etc.
- Pursuing delinquent rents and performing evictions in accordance with state and landlord laws, including court proceedings.
- Hiring, training, motivating, and managing onsite staff to meet deadlines, and administering discipline with proper documentation.
- Demonstrating leadership, maintaining professional communication, appearance, and adherence to company policies.
- Inspecting community grounds and homes to ensure a presentable appearance.
- Managing maintenance tasks via the Maintenance Work Order system.
- Entering lead information and completing guest cards in the Lead Tracker System.
- Processing invoices, maintaining petty cash, and tracking expenses and receipts.
- Maintaining employee files, timesheets, and records for accurate compensation and benefits.
- Analyzing reports and addressing issues or inaccuracies.
- Handling accidents, emergencies, and mechanical needs, reporting immediately to the corporate office, including outside of normal hours if necessary.
- Managing refurbishing of community-owned homes.
- Ensuring safety through ongoing corrective measures for a safe environment.
- Building relationships with residents and responding to their needs.
- Coordinating advertising, promotions, and presentations of homes as directed.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of property management experience with proven management skills.
- Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented with multitasking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and Outlook; MRI experience preferred.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
- Proven leadership skills and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record and insurability.
- High School diploma or GED required.
