About The Role

The Sr. Associate Visual Merchandiser is responsible for supporting the creation and execution of global visual directives to achieve compelling visual presentations in store. They digitally and physically execute the full-scale presentations of all product that has been developed through the line adoption process, while also creating and executing styling for mannequins & windows. This role works closely with cross-functional partners to gather data needed for monthly store sets, windows, and brand presentations. The Sr. Associate participates in all key product milestones for their division.

What You'll Do

1. Maintain a pulse on current and relevant market and visual merchandising trends.
2. Synthesize competitive store experience trends, customer needs, and team creative brainstorms to create innovative updates to the Athleta store experience, including product placement, marketing placement, and mannequin styling/displays.
3. Manage the in-season sample process & organization for the entire Visual Merchandising division.
4. Participate actively in store sets and visual communication deliverables, ensuring balanced workload, meeting project timelines, and attending divisional and cross-functional meetings.
5. Prepare written communication such as monthly style guides, mannequin guides, window guides, and brand communication.
6. Organize & lead cross-functional walkthroughs and present to Brand Senior Leadership.
7. Collaborate with key cross-functional partners (Design, Merchandising, Marketing, Inventory Management, Field Visual, and Stores) to support business objectives and deliverables.
8. Support the Product Creation lifecycle with Design and Merchandising to ensure compelling storytelling and appropriate assortment levels.
9. Manage competing priorities between digital and physical styling & visual merchandising.
10. Share best practices with peers in systems and processes.
11. Participate in special projects as needed.
12. Travel as needed.

Who You Are

1. 3-5 years of retail industry and store experience.
2. Experience in Visual Merchandising & Styling.
3. Elevated fashion and styling sense, with the ability to incorporate new trends.
4. Problem solver with creative solutions.
5. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, InDesign, Airtable, Miro, Figma, and knowledge of emerging digital tools.

Salary Range: $79,800 - $105,800 USD
