What you will be doing: We are seeking an entrepreneurial-minded Product Marketing Manager to lead innovation and development forour Consumer Medical product brands. This role requires an individual who is passionate about innovation(products, user experience, packaging, and claims, etc.) with the ability to develop insights by leveragingconsumer research and market data into winning business product solutions that delight consumers. Consumer-Centric Innovation:
Maintain a deep understanding of consumer needs, both rational and emotional, to drive innovationthat resonates with our target audience and exceeds consumer expectations.
Conduct ongoing analysis of global consumer medical product industry trends, consumer behavior, andcompetitor activities to help identify opportunities for differentiation and drive future innovation.
Innovation Pipeline Management:
Manage day-to-day work, resources, timelines, and budgets to deliver projects that meet commercialtargets and innovation thresholds on time, and within cost targets, in order to drive revenue and marketshare growth.
Own and conduct financial analysis in partnership with the finance and development teams. Includesdeveloping and updating initial volume projections that drive forecast, profitability and ROI for newproducts.
Collaborate with go-to-market teams to define and refine positioning/claims to sell-in and drive sellthrough.
Champion disruptive thinking and agile methodologies to foster a culture of innovation and creativeproblem solving to address challenges and remove bottlenecks.
Contribute to the development of innovative roadmaps that drive long-term product development andmarket leadership.
Brand Architecture and Portfolio Management:
Drive development and management of innovation within the Braun and Vicks brand architecture andportfolio strategies that supports/evolves Brand Architecture while meeting business objectives andensuring it aligns with brand principals.
Support Category Director in developing and analyzing financials to manage overall product portfolio,
develop 5 year plans and evaluating data to make key business decisions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with R&D, marketing, consumer insights, finance, and other departments to ensureseamless launch and introduction of new innovations.
Facilitate and maintain a flow of insights and new product ideas. Leverage insights to identifybreakthrough innovations to fill the funnel and drive future growth.
Support Development of and Execution of Strategic Vision:
Contribute to strategic innovation roadmap for Consumer Medical products that aligns with Vicks andBraun long-term goals and drives market leadership.
Work collaboratively with the cross-functional team including brand, innovation, and consumer insightsto bring new products, business models, and channels to market.
Skills needed to be successful in this role: Proven track record of developing and launching successful innovations.
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate market trends and consumer insights into innovativesolutions.
Verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present ideas and influencestakeholders at all levels.
Bias for action and a high degree of personal accountability.
Experience working in a fast-paced, often ambiguous environment, with a focus on growth andcontinuous improvement.
Passion for wellness and meeting consumers’ needs.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree
2+ years of experience in innovation, product development, or a related field within the wellnessindustry
Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
Preferred Qualifications: App and Connected Products
Medical devices experience
In Massachusetts, the standard base pay range for this role is $ 76,083.49 - $114,125.23 annually . This base pay range is specific to Massachusetts, and may not be applicable to other locations. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to location, experience, skill level, and performance. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Benefits:
