Yes. Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, 401(k), Paid holidays Summary Connect Search is hiring a PCB Designer in Milwaukee. Responsibilities Create schematics in collaboration with electrical hardware engineer Create PCB layouts utilizing DFM, DFA, and DFT methodologies and techniques Create and manage component libraries, as appropriate Lead and participate in circuit simulations, as appropriate Design and develop membrane switch and capacitive sensor products Generate drawings and documentation to facilitate manufacture and assembly Generate bills of materials and update ERP/MRP system accordingly Follow and contribute to design guidelines for PCBs, membrane switches, and capacitive sensors Participate in quotation process with feasibility review, PCB concept, and development effort estimation Support supplier management with PCB manufacturer selections and audits, as appropriate Train and guide staff in PCB design, manufacturing methods, and best practices, as appropriate Qualifications Associates degree in Electronics or related discipline and 5+ years of industry experience in a PCB designer role Experience with best practices and design rules associated with component placement, thermal management, high speed signaling, EMC compliance, crosstalk, signal integrity, etc. Strong knowledge in PCB and PCBA manufacturing technologies and methods such as SMT, THT, AOI, ICT, etc. Experience with selection of layer structures, raw materials, finishes, panel design etc. to meet functional performance and cost expectations Strong knowledge and use of ECAD software (e.g. Altium, Cadence/OrCAD, Zuken) Strong knowledge and use of 2D MCAD software (e.g. AutoCAD, Draftsight) Experience interfacing with MRP/ERP systems (experience with SAP is a plus) Knowledge and experience with 3D modeling is a plus Ability to solder/desolder components and aid in prototyping
