Senior UX Product Designer
We're looking for a Senior UX Product Designer with strong UX foundations and a strategic mindset to lead the design of a new Developer Portal — a self-service platform that enables technical users to explore APIs, manage integrations, and access documentation with ease.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives on simplifying complexity, designing intuitive flows, and collaborating closely with engineers and PMs — not to code, but to design excellent UX for developers.
Own the design of an API-focused platform by creating user flows, interaction patterns, and navigation structures that serve the real needs of developers. You'll bring clarity to technical workflows and design a seamless, scalable experience that makes integration easier and faster.
Responsibilities of the Senior UX Product Designer
- Lead UX design from discovery to delivery: research, IA, flows, UI, prototyping
- Create clear, usable interfaces for managing API keys, endpoints, docs, and integrations
- Design content-heavy navigation and organize technical information effectively
- Collaborate closely with PMs and engineers (without coding) to align on functionality
- Design modular, consistent components within a shared design system
- Advocate for developer-first UX and usability best practices
Requirements for the Senior UX Product Designer
- Native English speaker (or fluent with native-level proficiency)
- 5+ years of experience in Product or UX Design
- Experience designing B2B platforms or technical products (not consumer apps only)
- Solid understanding of concepts like API documentation, developer workflows, and integration UX
- Strong skills in Information Architecture, interaction design, and Figma
- Comfortable working asynchronously and independently in a startup-like, fast-paced environment
- Exposure to tools like Postman, Swagger, Stoplight, Redoc
- Experience designing for developer personas or technical audiences
- Familiarity with concepts such as tokens, endpoints, and rate limits (no need to code)
- UX research experience with power users or complex systems
- Design system experience in a scaling product environment
