JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Digital Arts and Media Design Program is seeking students to work in the Digital Arts Studio Spaces. These positions involve assisting lab users and monitoring the lab during designated hours. Some familiarity with digital arts and media design studio technologies, tools, and methods is required.
Primary Duties Include:
- Monitor the Digital Arts lab and studios during scheduled hours.
- Maintain material inventory and schedule student equipment checkout and usage.
- Assist students with basic lab-related software, hardware, and peripheral technologies.
Secondary Duties Include:
- Perform routine lab cleaning and maintenance.
- Manage the Digital Arts Gallery.
- Post signage and instructions as needed.
- Facilitate communication via the Digital Arts faculty/student listserv.
- Participate in Digital Arts lab projects and collaborate with related student groups using the facilities.
