Under general supervision, the AEM Content Specialist II supports product strategy, enhances, and maintains a digital product—an intranet system and employee portal. This role works on a cross-functional team to build and edit webpages, manage digital assets, contribute to search effectiveness, and build solutions for the business, ensuring the product aligns with business goals and delivers an exceptional employee experience.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to product vision, strategy, and roadmap while aligning with company goals and initiatives.
- Prototype, validate, and evaluate new ideas; troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with business segments to identify opportunities and focus areas.
- Work with stakeholders to understand needs, define requirements, provide recommendations, and ensure alignment.
- Maintain the product by updating webpages, managing digital assets, refining search results, and performing content and keyword research.
- Create features, enhancements, and bug fixes based on feedback.
- Advise departments on content updates, retirements, or redesigns within the intranet platform.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers and developers to create intuitive experiences.
- Participate in usability and user acceptance testing for continuous improvement.
- Gather and analyze data to optimize features, manage content, and improve user satisfaction.
- Establish and monitor authoring standards; train authors and create support materials.
- Contribute to team process improvements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of three years of experience managing a digital platform or content management system.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
- Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Adobe DAM, and Adobe Professional.
- Knowledge of Adobe Analytics, Figma, Copilot AI, Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, and Snagit.
- Familiarity with HTML and SEO.
- Strong ownership, accountability, and team collaboration skills.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Data-driven mindset with experience using insights to improve features and user satisfaction.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional activities.
Educational Requirements
College degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Work Schedule
Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends. Work hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with possible additional hours.
