The Role Proofpoint is looking for a highly experienced business leader for the position of VP of Product Marketing. This person will be responsible for leading the product marketing teams for Proofpoint Information Protection and Proofpoint Compliance. This leader will report to our Group VP of Product Marketing and be responsible for the go-to-market efforts for these products. Create go-to-market strategy with key stakeholders to drive accelerated growth Develop messaging frameworks for new and existing products with our product management and sales leadership Develop sales tools and enablement that scale and increase sales productivity Create strong partnerships with cross-functional teams to achieve business success Set the business priorities for the product marketing team Coach, mentor, and develop the team What you bring to the team An experienced business leader with a minimum of 15+ years of go-to-market experience in cybersecurity, data security, and compliance A strong go-to-market leader with experience in driving accelerated growth for a business A strong people leader with at least 5 years of leadership experience An organizational leader who keeps business objectives in mind while leading teams to success A compelling presenter capable of conveying complex topics simply through storytelling Why Proofpoint Protecting people is at the heart of our award-winning lineup of cybersecurity solutions, and the people who work here are key to our success.
