Immediate need for a talented Digital Video Content Associate. This is a 12+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Bristol, CT (Onsite). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $23 - $25/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• The team works on a rotation - 3 months on day shifts and then 3 months on night shifts.
• The day shift can start as early as 4 am (e.g., 4 am-1 pm, 8 am-5 pm, 12 pm-9 pm, etc.).
• The night shift can start as early as 5 pm (e.g., 5 pm-2 am, 7 pm-4 am, etc.).
• The schedules will be set each week, and candidates must be available to work any shift within that rotation.
• Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overnight hours.
• Be able to identify trending, “must-see”-type moments from games or news stories and work to create and aggregate cohesive content experiences for a digital audience.
• Analyze content metadata, plus usage and performance metrics that lead to content enhancements and storyline improvements.
• Effectively manage production timelines to ensure projects are executed on time.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overnight hours.
• Minimum 1 year of combined media experience with a focus on digital media.
• Basic non-linear editing skills (Premiere, Quantel, Final Cut, Avid, After Effects, etc.) - experience with at least Premiere is a must-have.
• Strong base of current sports knowledge, including teams, players, and storylines.
• Understand and closely follow the latest social media trends.
• Excellent headline writing skills; an understanding of optimal tactics for content distribution.
• Ability to work quickly and juggle multiple varied tasks during a typical work day.
• It is vital that candidates have a strong understanding of sports and are in tune with current news and storylines in the sports world.
• Experience in editing content, specific to the needs and specs for digital platforms.
• Experience working with a variety of digital content management systems.
• Experience working in a mobile-first content environment.
