The Web Software Developer we seek will work with a small team to design, build, test, deploy, and support enterprise web applications to modernize data and design information management for our customers. These web applications will enable the product development team to store project data in a relational database, providing complex rebuild, upgrade, and sustainment information, as well as data mining capabilities for licensed software maintenance, license allocation, and system configurations. What you bring to the table: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience, plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or a Master’s degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience. Subject matter expert (SME) in designing, developing, integrating, testing, and maintaining web applications using the Django Python Framework and Microsoft SQL Server. Key skills include: Web development with MS SQL experience The Django Python Framework Version control with GitLab and Git Ability to develop innovative solutions to complex problems, exercising initiative and independent judgment with minimal supervision. Strong understanding of software engineering principles, applying technical standards and methodologies creatively to resolve issues. Capable of analyzing complex problems involving diverse data and variables, and selecting appropriate methods and evaluation criteria.
