The Front-End UI Engineer will be responsible for developing the front-end application. The front-end application will fetch all necessary data from our REST API server. The Front-End UI should be based on a modern software stack that is maintainable, testable and well documented. All code written will be maintained in a Github repo and deployed using a Github CICD deployment process.

User Interface (UI) Development:

• Building reusable components and libraries for future use.
• Optimizing web pages for speed, performance, and scalability.
• Debugging and troubleshooting front-end issues.
• Integrating APIs and back-end systems.
• Working closely with UX/UI designers, back-end developers, and other stakeholders to ensure a cohesive and functional user experience.
• Participating in design and code reviews.

Technical Skills:

• Experience with front-end frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Understanding of web design principles and best practices.
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

Other Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stay up-to-date with the latest front-end technologies and trends.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent professional experience.

This posting is for a contract assignment with ASK Staffing DBA ASK Consulting to provide services to Bristol Myer-Squibb.

The starting hourly compensation for this assignment is the following range ($90 - $ 93.48/hr). While the final, individual compensation and any available benefits will be determined by your employer of record ASK Staffing, Inc (and not BMS), factors that will be included in making the final determination may include the characteristics of the assignment, such as demonstrated experience, required skill, and the geographic location where the job is performed. The starting hourly compensation may be subject to change.
