Description
The Front-end (UI) - Senior Software Engineer is a hands-on development and technical oversight role responsible for application feature design, understanding the architecture, and leading the team to deliver quality solutions. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of modern software engineering practices, API design, and architecture, with experience in microservices-based backend systems. Familiarity with Next.js, React JS, and/or AEM stack is required, and prior experience with Google Cloud Platform is highly desirable. Lead and participate in the development and implementation of responsive front-end UI architecture for micro frontends, ensuring high performance, WCAG compliance, scalability, and maintainability. Model the use of modern software engineering practices (BDD, CI/CD, Shift Left, 12-factor apps), API design, and architecture to support integration with existing software and external cloud services. Utilize AI coding assistants (LLM, Copilot, etc.) effectively in daily workflows, including prompt design and guardrails. Collaborate with Frontend and Backend Architects to rationalize design and translate into requirements. Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to ensure UI meets user needs and aligns with product vision. Develop and maintain a scalable UI architecture using Next.js / React JS. Guide and collaborate with UI developers, ensuring best practices. Test and debug UI issues across browsers and devices, staying updated with UI development trends. Develop modules within eCommerce products, ensuring high-quality front-end components.
