Job Description:
Sr Director, Assistant Controller - TV Networks at NBCUniversal. This role is based in Englewood Cliffs, NJ, United States. Candidates should have a Bachelor Degree or higher. Open to professionals in the Accounting field.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee controllership activities for TV Networks revenues and expenses.
- Ensure transactions are recorded, documented, and reviewed per policies and GAAP.
- Partner with finance on reporting, controls, and policy formulation.
- Participate in closing processes; review financial statements and schedules.
- Review journal entries and reconciliations; ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage controllership processes related to revenue streams, collaborating with accounting teams.
- Assess and improve control environment; support SOX compliance.
- Manage audits; ensure timely management reports.
- Mentor staff; collaborate on system enhancements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required.
- 8+ years relevant experience.
- Knowledge of accounting standards and practices.
