Rhoback is currently seeking a dynamic Video Editor passionate about creating engaging, fun, and high-quality content. This role focuses on producing high-quality marketing assets for social media, TV commercials, and e-commerce, while also supporting organic social media content as needed. Experience in commercial work is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will be proficient in all stages of post-production and capable of translating raw footage into creative and innovative outputs that align with Rhoback’s brand ethos.

The individual will report to Rhoback’s Chief Content Officer and work directly with the founders and Creative Director. They will also collaborate closely with Rhoback’s internal creative team and freelance creatives to maintain an organized content library. As an integral part of Rhoback’s growing Media House team, they will contribute to the company's media and activewear market growth.

This position is based in-person at Rhoback’s Charlottesville, VA headquarters and is a full-time role starting as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• Edit marketing assets for advertisement purposes across all Rhoback platforms
• Edit short-form and long-form content (scripted and unscripted) for digital platforms
• Collaborate with the Digital Marketing team to optimize content performance
• Manage post-production workflow from ingesting, transcoding, editing, grading, compression, to exporting and final delivery
• Maintain an organized library of raw media, projects, and final masters
• Assist in curating a music library aligned with the brand ethos
• Brainstorm content ideas that evoke the Rhoback mantra, “Crave Activity”
• Occasionally travel to support live events with quick-turn edited content
• Stay updated on creative trends, best practices, and editing techniques
• Adapt to changing timelines, hours, and project priorities—flexibility is essential

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in video editing for digital delivery and social platforms
• Self-starter with a passion for creating engaging and impactful videos
• Experience editing digital ads, branded content, and hype videos
• Strong attention to detail in color accuracy and sound design
• Ability to create engaging motion videos from still images
• Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro & Media Encoder (CC)
• Experience with Adobe After Effects & Audition (CC) is a plus
• Ability to work independently with strong initiative
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
• Excellent organizational and multi-project management skills
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Team player with a proactive attitude
