Position Overview
The MCICOM G7 Graphics Designer will support the COMSTRAT branch by executing communication strategies that maximize operational success. The designer will create various products—including written, audio, visual, graphic, animation, and web content—in formats suitable for print, television, email, naval communication, mobile, and internet, to effectively convey DC I&L and MCICOM information.
Essential Job Functions
- Determine the most effective communication products to meet objectives.
- Develop conceptual ideas and storyboards for communication products.
- Produce diverse content such as news features, press releases, brochures, audio, imagery, videos, graphics, and multimedia.
- Create print materials like handbills, leaflets, and training materials.
- Tailor products to specific audiences to meet communication goals.
- Manage product approval processes for dissemination.
- Publish and support the distribution of products for DC I&L and MCICOM.
- Collect data on performance metrics of communication products.
- Manage the lifecycle of imagery and communication products from acquisition to archival preservation.
- Process and submit products for permanent storage and historical archiving in accordance with policies.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree with at least ten (10) years of specialized experience, or a Master’s Degree with at least four (4) years of experience.
- Secret Security Clearance.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience as a Graphics Designer or Digital Graphics Developer.
