Senior Sales Director
to focus on proactive new business development within our
Information Services and Publishing
Practice. The Senior Sales Director will be responsible for growing new business and building a strategic pipeline of enterprise accounts. This role requires a strong understanding of market dynamics and competition to develop effective sales strategies. A successful candidate is a proactive 'sales hunter' who actively contributes to developing value propositions based on a deep understanding of opportunity areas within the Information Services and Publishing sectors. Responsibilities:
Identify and close new deals in the information services and publishing domain. Represent Infosys in the market, positioning the company as an industry leader and trusted advisor. Leverage the Infosys ecosystem across technology practices, industry verticals, and service lines to develop client solutions. Develop innovative platform solutions tailored for professional services, publishing, or media enterprises. Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited institution; relevant experience may substitute for education. 9+ years of sales experience in the service industry, with at least 5-7 years in new business development selling IT services. Understanding of the Global Delivery Model (offshore/outsourcing) and experience in large deals. Proven ability to interact with CXOs and build strategic relationships. Experience in proposal creation and presentation. Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Experience in software contract negotiations. Competitor analysis and SWAT analysis experience. Ability to craft innovative solutions in complex environments. Well-connected within the IT services industry, especially in professional services sectors. Ability to identify upcoming RFPs and deals through networking.
