Graphic Designer
Location: HYBRID, Jackson, MI
Pay Rate: ~$25/hour, DOE (W2 and benefit options)
Duration: 6 Months to start (potential to go longer)
The Planet Group is seeking a Graphic Designer to join their client in the clean energy industry on a 6-month contract.
Graphic Designer Responsibilities:
- Create visually compelling, original graphics for multi-channel campaigns to educate and engage audiences.
- Build stakeholder trust and achieve desired behaviors and outcomes.
- Work with assets including digital static, HTML5, OOH ads, email, web, social media, direct mail, print ads, infographics, and more.
- Take ownership of assigned subjects and products, developing a deep understanding of customer problems and creating engaging visual solutions.
- Collaborate to inform visual strategy and suggest enhancements based on best practices, performance, and brand standards.
Graphic Designer Qualifications:
- 2+ years of design experience
- Portfolio or work samples required with application
- Bachelor's degree in Visual Communications or Graphic Design preferred
- Proficiency in visual communications and design software (Adobe Creative Cloud, MS Office)
- Ability to interpret Gas Operations work and translate technical material into visual content
- Understanding of MGSS requirements for visual projects
- Strong graphic design skills
- Knowledge of photography and video editing (Adobe Premiere Pro)
- Ability to create visual content for regulatory documentation
- Diverse skills in design and web-oriented tools
- Research skills to identify technological solutions for project platforms
- Experience designing complex technical visuals
