Job Description:
The role requires experience in power optimization and achieving high-performance designs. Responsibilities include developing power test plans, analyzing designs for power improvements, workload analysis, and conducting end-to-end power budget studies. Candidates should understand RTL, power flows, scripting, and automation. Knowledge of graphics processors, AI/HPC workloads, and gaming workloads is essential. The role involves participation in defining architecture and microarchitecture features, applying various strategies and tools for performance and power analysis, and demonstrating strong teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field with 6+ years of experience in computer architecture.
- Knowledge in 3D Graphics, AI/HPC domains.
- Experience in power and performance analysis and optimization.
- Skills in RTL, microarchitecture, and architecture design.
- Experience with end-to-end ASIC flow.
- Programming skills in Python, Perl, Tcl, SystemVerilog, or Verilog.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Engineering with at least 8+ years of experience in computer architecture.
- Experience in 3D Graphics, AI/HPC domains, or high-performance data path designs.
- Experience developing power test plans and analyzing designs for power optimization.
- Hands-on experience with power tools, flows, emulation-based power analysis, and optimizations.
Additional Details:
This is an experienced hire position, with a shift in the United States of America. The primary location is San Diego, California, with an additional location in Santa Clara, California.
