Classification: Contract Contract Length: 12 months Location: Nashville, TN The UX Designer specializes in user experience and product design with a human-centered approach to mobile, digital, and web applications that are intuitive, innovative, and engaging. This role requires experience in creating valuable UX documentation, excellent visual design skills, a passion for simplifying complex products, and the ability to clearly articulate product functionality in both digital and physical contexts. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and responsibilities such as facilitating user research, creating information architectures, building sitemaps, wireframes, high-fidelity visual designs, interactive prototypes, and ensuring design quality before production. The designer will advocate for user needs at each stage to ensure the final product is both effective and elegant. Responsibilities Partner with stakeholders and technical teams to align on business and user goals Gather feedback on live products and new designs to inform UX iterations Conduct user research using methods like interviews, A/B testing, usability testing, surveys, and analytics Create user journeys, personas, and audience segments Design solutions for mobile, digital, and responsive web applications that enhance user and business goals Define and drive UX vision and strategy for products Implement human-centered design methodologies leveraging ongoing feedback and insights Translate research insights into actionable design improvements in collaboration with product and engineering teams Create high-quality design artifacts such as user flows, wireframes, visual designs, prototypes, and presentations Ensure compliance with accessibility standards, design systems, and branding guidelines Promote a UX-centric culture through mentorship, sharing best practices, and training Present and communicate UX designs to stakeholders to gather feedback and foster collaboration Lead or mentor UX team members and act as UX Lead on product teams Adhere to organizational standards and perform other duties as assigned Requirements Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field Empathetic, growth-oriented mindset with eagerness to learn Strong knowledge of human-centered design and UX practices Proficiency with design tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Cloud, InVision, UserTesting, etc. Ability to engage in thoughtful stakeholder interactions, driving user-centered solutions Skills in UX design, UI design, interaction design, visual design, or product design Ability to influence UX best practices within cross-disciplinary teams Mentorship skills for guiding colleagues in UX Effective communication skills for presenting complex UX concepts Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Capacity to sit for extended periods #J-18808-Ljbffr
