Position Overview
WFOX TV Jacksonville has a great opportunity for an entry-level, part-time Studio Technician. This role involves working on our TV and Digital platforms, often during news broadcasts. The position requires flexibility to work overnights, early mornings, late nights, holidays, and weekends. If you have skills in editing, audio, or news writing, this could be your foot in the door!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate the prompter for live and recorded programming
- Manage the studio floor for live and recorded programming
- Contribute to all platforms as needed
- Perform miscellaneous duties, including maintenance and preparation
Minimum Qualifications
- Degree or current pursuit of a degree in electronic media
- At least 1 year of experience in broadcast, film, or editing
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, move bulky set pieces, and climb ladders
