Job Title:
Sr. Migration Lead (Opentext Content Server) Location:
NJ Position Type:
Long term contract Job Description: Over 15 Years of relevant experience in Opentext ECM products. High skilled and knowledgeable with ECM and DAM concepts, implementation experience, and up-to-date on the latest ECM trends (GenAI, ECMaaS, etc.). Experience in successful implementations and migration of Opentext Content Server in enterprise environments. Deep understanding of the Opentext Content Server platform's architecture, functionalities, and configuration options. Knowledge of OpenText Content Server APIs for integration and customization. Experience with data migration tools, techniques, and best practices for moving content from existing systems to OpenText Content Server. Experience migrating content, metadata, workflows, and objects from other ECM platforms like OnBase, SharePoint, ImageRight, etc., and understanding of underlying APIs like OnBase OCAPI. Familiarity with database systems used by OpenText Content Server (SQL Server preferred) for analysis, reporting, and troubleshooting. Understanding server OS, hardware, and networking to ensure stability and performance. Knowledge of content management principles such as metadata management, version control, and records management. Ability to map data elements from source systems to OpenText Content Server attributes. Experience with ETL processes for large data migrations, including tools and techniques, and knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure), various databases (Mongo, PostgreSQL, Oracle), and storage options (S3, Azure Blob, EFSS, FS). Experience with multi-tenant architectures at application and container levels. Experience with other ECM tools like SharePoint, Alfresco, FileNet, Documentum (preferred). Proven experience managing complex IT projects, including planning, execution, and change management. Providing architectural guidance and support to technical teams and analysts. Consulting experience for vendor evaluation and blueprinting exercises. Designing and overseeing end-to-end system implementations. Interacting with business stakeholders to define system requirements and solutions. Certification in Opentext Content Server is desirable. Experience with Agile delivery methodologies. Strong interpersonal skills for stakeholder management. Seniority level
