Responsibilities include: Collaborate with the HPC team to plan flu vaccination and community outreach events as needed. Precept nursing students (Undergraduate and Graduate) during rotations at the HPCA, including supervising graduate-level NP students. Duties / Responsibilities : Complete patient visits efficiently and document encounters within 1 business day. Maintain accurate medical records of health encounters and follow-up communications. Work collaboratively within the Health Promotion Center team of providers and externs. Adhere to Standardized Practice Guidelines as specified by the California Board of Registered Nursing. Consult with supervising physicians and other providers regarding healthcare practice issues or treatment responses. Assist patients with Project Access Applications and Management. Qualifications Required Skills / Abilities : Proficiency or fluency in Spanish for conducting patient visits. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Google Drive, and the ability to learn new software including Practice Fusion charting system. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong skills in patient history taking, physical assessment, and management of chronic and acute conditions. Required Education, Experience, and Licensure : Masters or Doctoral degree in Nursing. California NP license, NP Furnishing License, NPI. National NP Certification (ANCC or AANP). CPR Certification (BLS required). Clear background check required prior to employment. Physical Requirements Primarily sedentary work with extended sitting; use of computer equipment. Prolonged standing during patient evaluations. Ability to read documents, communicate effectively in person and via phone, and lift up to 20 lbs as needed.
