Senior UX/UI Designer . The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with a variety of business partners and delivering design solutions. You will collaborate with customers, engineers, and product management to determine design requirements, create mockups, user workflows, conduct user research, and provide feedback. As a Senior UX/UI Designer, you will be responsible for designing high-quality solutions that put the customer at the center and achieve outcomes that move our business forward. You will work directly with product management to develop solutions that meet customer and business needs. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary design and research team that values people, human-centered design, and a growth mindset. This position is a hybrid role requiring on-site presence 3 days a week at one of the following locations: Chevy Chase, MD; New York City, NY; Chicago, IL; Palo Alto, CA; Fredericksburg, VA. Job Responsibilities: Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to uncover customer and business needs. Translate complex ideas into understandable concepts and solutions that enhance the product experience. Manage shifting priorities to provide clear direction and support early product definition. Advocate for the customer through human-centered design methods, including discovery, research, and user testing. Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to align with business needs. Create process and user flows, wireframes, journey maps, and UI specifications. Deliver design assets for acceptance, development, and market delivery in partnership with engineering. Basic Qualifications: 5+ years of experience (or 3+ with a Master’s degree) in User Experience design. Preferred Qualifications: Experience designing for cross-channel environments, e.g., responsive web and native mobile interfaces. Ability to work across various design processes including user research, UX design, UI design, and specifications. Effective collaboration with Product Management, Engineering, and Operations teams. Strong communication and storytelling skills. Proficiency with design tools like Figma. Familiarity with established design systems and agile development teams. Salary Range: $104,550.00 - $172,200.00 annually. The final offer depends on experience, education, location, and other factors.
