F0162-Embedded Firmware Engineer (Audio)

Responsibilities

• Implement firmware for the home entertainment product line to enhance user experience.
• Develop features to support hardware testing and diagnosis of embedded devices.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers and software developers to ensure seamless hardware and firmware integration.
• Conduct performance testing, debugging, and profiling of firmware to ensure optimal performance and stability.

Requirements

• Genuine passion for embedded firmware development.
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming for embedded systems.
• Familiarity with embedded Linux firmware development.
• Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, Multicast, QoS).
• Hands-on experience with AES67, RTP, PTP, and audio-over-IP protocols.
• Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) or Linux-based systems.
• Understanding of clock synchronization, precision timing, and jitter management in IP audio networks.
• Team player, self-motivated, loves challenges, and capable of working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• BSc/MS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English for effective collaboration with global teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience developing and optimizing firmware for real-time audio streaming over IP networks, focusing on AES67 and related technologies.
• Experience with real-time streaming protocols.
• Experience working in international environments with global development teams.
