This role will provide sales and marketing leadership to position the company as an industry leader, developing strategic plans to promote revenue, profitability, and growth. The person will direct marketing initiatives to enhance the company's recognition in the clinical development market and coordinate with company leadership to meet organizational goals. Primary Responsibilities Lead the team that builds and maintains relationships with key decision-makers in the industry, focusing on the Direct to Sponsor business. Create and execute annual Sales and Marketing Plans, including setting goals and KPIs. Implement the plans, covering corporate positioning, competitive analysis, and sales forecasting. Manage all direct reports within the Commercial team. Align Sales and Marketing goals with overall corporate objectives through coordination with Finance, COO, and CEO. Collaborate with management on client capabilities, showcase meetings, escalations, and opportunities to optimize relationships. Review and adjust the Sales and Marketing plan periodically. Set quarterly objectives, manage resources, and communicate strategies to staff to achieve goals. Develop strategies for key clients with the Sales and Marketing team. Identify and address client challenges proactively, providing solutions aligned with company policies. Maintain client records, including profiles, contracts, proposals, and communications in Salesforce. Stay informed about Data Services and related technologies to enhance client offerings. Provide weekly updates on activities and issues in the assigned territory. Participate in professional meetings and conferences as appropriate. Regularly engage with active clients to assess satisfaction and address issues. Coordinate with sales and operations teams to maintain contact with past clients and explore new business opportunities.
