Objective
This role supports operations by producing detailed 3D Manufacturing Designs for both internal teams and external clients.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop assembly and component drawings for sales proposals, custom orders, and new product initiatives
- Create and maintain accurate bills of material and component data within enterprise systems
- Produce comprehensive technical documentation packages including 3D electronic files with appropriate specifications
- Execute drawing modifications and updates while ensuring all systems remain synchronized
- Collaborate with production, assembly, and quality teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Support knowledge transfer by assisting with CAD-related training for new team members
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in manufacturing industry CAD design
- Strong 3D CAD modeling capabilities
- Creo proficiency preferred but not required
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Manufacturing environment experience highly valued
- Associate degree or equivalent technical training preferred
