About Us

Hypersonic Labs is the team behind HELIX — an ambitious open-world multiplayer platform built in Unreal Engine 5 that empowers creators to build, mod, and roleplay at massive scale. Backed by top-tier investors like Play Ventures and Samsung Next with $11M raised, we’re redefining what user-generated games can be.

We’re looking for aFull Stack Web Developerto build sleek, performant, and intuitive web experiences for our creator ecosystem — from the HELIX game launcher to dashboards, marketplaces, and community tools.

What You’ll Do

• Own development of web features across the stack usingReact(frontend) andNode.js(backend)
• TranslateFigma designsinto pixel-perfect, responsive frontend interfaces
• Collaborate with designers, PMs, and platform engineers to ship new features
• Build and maintain APIs and backend services to support player and creator tools
• Contribute to technical decisions on architecture, performance, and usability

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years experience as a full stack developer
• Strong proficiency inNode.jsandReact
• Proven ability to translate Figma designs into clean, reusable code
• Experience with RESTful APIs, version control (Git), and modern CI/CD workflows
• Familiarity with authentication, security best practices, and scalable backend patterns

Nice to have

• Experience with UGC platforms, modding frameworks, or live service ecosystems.
• Previous work in fast-moving startup or small team environments.
• You thrive infast-paced, collaborative environments where efficiency, agility, and a strong team culture lead to significant and meaningful impact.
• You enjoy working closely with other disciplines, wearing multiple hats, and iterating quickly.
• You’re excited by ambitious creative tools and believe in enabling others through technology.
