Position: Technical Writer
Location: Alvarado, TX (Onsite)

Job Summary:
The Technical Writer plans, develops, delivers, and maintains information products to support product and service deployment and maintenance throughout their lifecycle. This includes manuals, instructions, training materials, multimedia, and technical illustrations. The role requires collaboration with SMEs to gather and present accessible information to the target audience.
Key Skill Sets:
- Manufacturing/Engineering product documentation experience
- Excellent grammar and punctuation skills with attention to detail
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Ability to evaluate content and develop improvements
- Proficiency with tools such as Adobe FrameMaker, RoboHelp, Windchill, Arbortext Editor, Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop
Minimum Qualifications:
- B.E. or B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or a Masters in English or equivalent
- Experience in the Oil & Gas domain
Responsibilities:
- Create manuals, guides, and supporting documents to communicate technical information
- Gather information from SMEs and develop technical documents
- Proofread and reauthor specifications and technical documents for clarity
- Present complex information in simplified language such as STE and Plain English
- Participate in peer reviews as an editor/proofreader
