Overview

Lutron has an immediate need for a Senior Retail Display & Packaging Designer to join the Communications team at our Conshohocken office. In this role, you will support the creative development and execution of in-store displays and product packaging. As an expert in retail display and packaging design, you'll lead the creation of innovative, sustainable solutions that enhance brand visibility and engage consumers. Success requires outstanding design skills and collaboration with the program manager and creative team to produce market-leading outputs.

Responsibilities

1. Create compelling point-of-purchase displays and merchandising solutions to maximize product visibility and reinforce brand identity
2. Oversee project workflows, ensuring quality and timely delivery
3. Design retail packaging that balances aesthetics, brand consistency, and functionality
4. Collaborate with creative, marketing, product development, and manufacturing teams to meet business and production goals
5. Develop design systems that ensure brand consistency across product lines
6. Present concepts to stakeholders and incorporate feedback
7. Stay updated on industry trends, sustainable materials, and display technologies
8. Mentor junior designers and provide creative guidance

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or related field
2. Minimum GPA of 3.00
3. 10+ years of experience in retail display and packaging design, with a strong portfolio of successful retail projects
4. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and 3D rendering software
5. Knowledge of printing, materials, finishes, and structural packaging design
6. Understanding of retail environments and consumer behavior
7. Experience with sustainable packaging and eco-friendly materials
