The Role

Do you love creating commercials, ads, and promos? Are you passionate about producing compelling content to promote? We are seeking a Video Promotions Editor interested in storytelling, audio design, motion graphics, and video creation. Reporting to the Senior Promotions Producer, the candidate must adapt to a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and tight deadlines. Above all, a passion for video, a willingness to learn TBN's goals, and a talent for storytelling are essential.

What You’ll Do

• Create short-form content promoting specials, original, and existing content.
• Collaborate on developing motion graphics for all video content.
• Ensure adherence to style guides, storytelling consistency, and brand standards.
• Produce fresh, engaging, and creative content regularly.
• Propose ideas to enhance each promo, focusing on storytelling and motion graphics.

What You’ll Need

• 4-6 years of relevant experience
• Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and tone in short-form content
• Effective use of voice-over, soundbites, NAT/SOT, music, and sound effects in editing
• Experience with motion graphics or animation using Adobe After Effects or similar software
• Knowledge of broadcast terms such as lower thirds, transitions, logo animations
• Ability to accept and incorporate constructive criticism
• Excellent time and project management skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a high-stress, fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail, quality, and organization
• Understanding of formats, frame rates, and codecs

Education

B.A. in film or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
