Overview
Conduct User Research
– Plan and execute qualitative and quantitative studies, including interviews, surveys, usability testing, and ethnographic research. Analyze User Behavior
– Synthesize research data to identify user needs, pain points, and behavioral patterns to inform design decisions. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams
– Work closely with designers, product managers, developers, and stakeholders to incorporate user insights into product development. Develop User Personas & Journeys
– Create detailed personas, journey maps, and workflows to illustrate user experiences and guide design strategies. Test Prototypes & Products
– Conduct usability testing on wireframes, prototypes, and live products to evaluate functionality, accessibility, and overall user experience. Translate Research into Actionable Insights
– Present findings and recommendations through reports, presentations, and workshops. Stay Updated on UX Trends & Best Practices
– Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging research methods, and evolving user expectations. Advocate for the User
– Promote user needs within the organization to ensure a human-centered approach to product development. Measure UX Impact
– Assess the success of design solutions using KPIs, usability metrics, and post-launch feedback. Maintain Research Repositories
– Organize and manage research documentation for accessibility and reuse across teams. Minimum Qualifications :
At least ten years of successful UX Research experience, preferably in an ecommerce product-driven company. Understanding of user-centered design (UCD) principles. Proficiency in qualitative research methods (e.g., interviews, usability testing, ethnography). Experience with quantitative research (e.g., surveys, analytics, A /B testing). Preferred Skills and Experience :
Knowledge of current UI trends, techniques, and technologies. Experience researching B2C ecommerce websites and apps. Strong digital and mobile research background. Ability to present research findings compellingly and lead stakeholder discussions. Creative problem-solving skills in collaborative environments. Excellent research skills with sensitivity to user interactions across multiple touchpoints. Familiarity with wireframing and prototyping tools like Figma is a plus. Benefits and Opportunities :
