Job Summary
This position is responsible for the software design, development, and implementation of web-based applications. The Lead Analyst/Developer also coordinates team development and the integration of new products according to client requirements.
Job Description
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field with four (4) years of related programming experience, or
- Associate's degree in a related field with six (6) years of related programming experience, or
- Eight (8) years of related programming experience without a degree.
Licenses/Certifications: None
Experience / Knowledge / Skills:
- Demonstrated lead experience and knowledge in Sourcesafe, TFS, TSQL, PLSQL, SQL Server 2005, SSIS, stored procedures, triggers, DTS, ODBC, and other database technologies. Proficiency in ASP, HTML, DHTML, Ajax, JavaScript, VBScript, C#, ASP.NET, WinForms, Visual Studio, COM, cross-platform and cross-browser capabilities.
- Expertise in Windows NT, SQL Server, IIS, and security.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for successful teamwork.
- Ability to work independently with a measurable drive for results.
- Strong oral communication and presentation skills.
- Effective planning and organizational skills.
Principal Accountabilities
- Design, develop, and implement web-based applications, including research, analysis, planning, coding, testing, debugging, documentation, user acceptance testing, and deployment.
- Collaborate with designers and team members and promote open communication.
- Define system flow for custom web interfaces.
- Utilize web automation tools to enhance functionality.
- Support Web Developers, Senior Developers, project leaders, and consultants.
- Lead discussions with end users to gather requirements.
- Research, test, build, and coordinate the integration of new products per client requirements.
- Integrate new technologies as appropriate.
- Monitor software development to ensure quality control.
- Coordinate task assignments and ensure project timelines are met.
- Adhere to all policies, procedures, and standards, ensuring safety and quality within budget and time constraints.
- Promote professional growth through ongoing education and skills development; serve as a mentor and resource.
- Create compassionate and personalized experiences, modeling Memorial Hermann’s service standards by providing safe, caring, and efficient care to patients and colleagues.
