Locals to (DC, MD & VA) Area Education And Experience Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field - Required 5+ years of experience as a Technical Writer 3+ Years of hands-on experience with Adobe Acrobat Pro. Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint. 5+ years of experience with documentation tools Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Experience with documentation tools Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint - 5 Years Required 3+ Years of experience using content publishing tools to write, format, manage, and publish technical content on the web. Experience using content publishing tools to write, format, manage, and publish technical content on the web - 3 Years Required Experience as a Technical Writer - 5 Years Required Knowledge And Skills Highly skilled in MS Suite software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio) to conduct all job responsibilities. Demonstrable ability to grasp technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures Highly skilled in MS Suite software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio) - Required What You’ll Do Job Responsibilities: Develop quality standards, graphics, format, and style for internal and external IT documents. Understand new features, learn how they work, and document them in crisp, easy-to-follow language Improve existing documentation based on customer feedback. Use visual models and tools to communicate workflows, communications, relations, and system operations. Must be detail oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
