Founded in 1976, Mason Gross School of the Arts is the flagship public arts conservatory of New Jersey and is part of Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, a leading Big Ten public research university serving more than 65,000 students. The school hosts departments of Art & Design, Dance, Filmmaking, Music, and Theater, along with Rutgers Arts Online and Rutgers Community Arts. The Department of Music seeks a Part-Time Lecturer to teach the two-semester Art of Production sequence during the 2020-2021 academic year. This includes two 3-credit courses: Art of Production I: Recording in Fall 2020 and Art of Production II: Mixing in Spring 2021. The ideal candidate will have professional experience in recording, mixing, and post-production, an advanced degree in music technology/audio production (or equivalent experience), and college-level teaching experience. |
